The first battlefield tour of this four day break is at Ligny-Sombreffe, where the Prussians were beaten by Napoleon two days before the Battle of Waterloo.
Day Three will be the centrepiece of the trip – a battlefield tour of Waterloo. Leger’s specialisist guide will run through the events of the battle, such the rout of the Imperial Guard and Ponsonby’s counterattack, and take you to different areas of the site.
Time will also be available to visit the visitor centre and Lion Mound – for great views – before heading to Waterloo town to view Wellington’s Headquarters.
