The French Alps offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole of Europe, so join Shearings’ on their ten day break.
You will be staying at the three-star Hotel Alpen Roc in La Clusaz – located close to the Swiss border and the perfect base to discover the area.
You will have a full day at the popular resort of Chamonix. This pretty town is located below the impressive snow-capped peaks of the Alps, including Mont Blanc.
There is also a trip to the Swiss city of Geneva, which is famous for watchmaking and banking and located near Lake Geneva.
Finally, there will be half a day to go to Lake Annecy. The lake is so pretty and you will have free time to explore and also visit the lakeside village of Annecy with it’s charming canals and pretty streets.
