On the first day you will visit the concentration camp inside the Fortress of Breendonk before moving on to Hitler’s formidable line of defences – the “Atlantic Wall”, where there is now a fascinating museum.

You will follow the route of the retreat from the Lille area to the coast, visiting La Bassee Canal, the poignant massacre sight at La Paradise and Hazerbrook, home to the V1 launch area.
