Leger Holidays return to Ypres every Eleventh of November to take veterans and well-wishers to pay their respects to the fallen dead of World War One.
The full first day in Belgium is put aside to explore the important landmarks of the conflict in The Ypres Salient where a quarter of a million British and Commonwealth troops lost their lives.
You will start off at the well-preserved trenches of Sanctuary Wood and the Canadian memorial on Hill 62. There will be a break for lunch in Ypres before moving on to Tyne Cot Cemetery, the Passchendaele Visitors Centre, Crest Farm and the Langemarck, the main German cemetery in Ypres.
Day Three is The Armistice Parade where you can attend two parades and the Last post ceremonies. There will also be time at leisure in Ypres to visit the town’s attractions, such as the In Flanders Field Museum.
