Alpine Winter Spectacular with Leger Holidays

With stays in both Switzerland and Austria, Leger’s short break is a great way to see the Alps.

After you arrive at your four star hotel in the Austrian town of Feldkirch the first day trip is to the historic city of Innsbruck. The city boasts the famous Golden Roof, pretty old town streets and winter sports venue where perhaps you could watch or even participate some snow based sports!

On Day Four there are optional excursions to the old Roman town of Bregenz – at the crossroads of the four Alpine countries, and Lindau, on the shores of Lake Constance.

On the next day you will pass into Austria by train or coach. The Swiss Glacier Express hurtles along through dramatic scenery – a definite highlight of the tour. Once in Switzerland there is an included daytrip to the lakeside resort of Lucerne, which boasts Mediaeval squares, frescoed houses and churches. Perhaps you can then take the optional excursions to 1000-year-dol Brienz and Interlaken.
